Be respectful and constructive

  • You are welcome to disagree! But remember to keep disagreements technical.

  • You are welcome to help improving questions or answers, but always keep a respectful tone.

Keep it useful: quality expectations

  • Use clear, specific titles.

  • Provide context and a minimal reproducible example when possible.

  • Use one primary tag per topic.

  • Include full error messages whenever possible. When this happens, include the error-message tag.

  • Follow up with outcomes (“this fixed it”) and mark the accepted answer.

No spam, scams, or manipulative behavior

  • No unsolicited advertising or repetitive promotion.

  • No impersonation, phishing, or misleading claims.

Intellectual property and licensing

  • Only share code/content you have rights to share.

  • If you post code snippets, assume others may reuse them.

  • Keep external quotes short, with context, and link to the source.

Moderation and enforcement

To keep the forum healthy, moderators may:

  • edit titles for clarity, add tags, move topics to the right category

  • close duplicates and link to canonical topics

  • remove content that violates these guidelines

  • restrict accounts for repeated or severe violations

How to report problems

  • Flag posts that violate guidelines (spam, harassment, sensitive data).

  • For urgent confidentiality/security concerns, use the reporting tool.
